actually, it doesn't have to be, although many teachers say it does!. when you try to write a really complicated thesis statement that has many parts as just one sentence, it might actually be worse because it sounds so awkward!. if you write it as more than sentence, be sure that it's clear to the reader that it is all part of the thesis statement!. it might be best to ask your teacher or whoever's grading your essay first, though!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

A thesis statement is usually just one sentence stating what you'll be talking about in that paper, it shouldn't have to be more than one sentence!. It's located somewhere in the first paragraph, usually at the end!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
