Question: Another silas marner question!? PLEASE HELP!!!! i really need it!?
can someone explain the following quote from the book!?:

Whereupon cards followed, with aunt Kimble's annual failure to follow suit, and uncle Kimble's irascibility concerning the odd-trick, which was rarely explicable to him, when it was not on his side, without a general visitation of tricks to see that they were formed on sound principles!.!.!.

please, just break it up for me and explain each part, because it is really confusing me!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You know how sometimes in situations in life we think about playing games!? Like mind games!? Well I believe that the reference about card tricks is saying that his aunt didn't follow suit, which I guess means that she didn't finish with whatever it was (conversation/argument/etc!.) and there was something odd in the circumstances and the uncle got mad about it because it didn't have any benefit to him!. And he didn't check whether or not the strange circumstance was real or not!.

Phew!.!.!.my brain hurts!. Best I could do!. :)Www@QuestionHome@Com
