I want to buy the books Children of Hurin, Silmarillion, Hobbit, and the Lord of the Rings and i want to know which to read first and next!.!.!.thanksWww@QuestionHome@Com

Okay, this is kind of complicated!. But here goes:
The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings are a direct series!. The Hobbit comes first and The Lord of the Rings follows closely after and includes some of the same characters!. I would recommend reading these two first!.
The Silmarillion is a very different type of book!. It tells the history of the world the books take place in (Middle Earth) with a focus on the ancient races that exist or existed at one time!. This book is EXTREMELY hard to read and isn't so much a story as a complete history!. It can at times be really hard to get through and you may not even want to read this at all!. If you do, though, I would recommend reading it after you read The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings!.
Children of Hurin is a prequel to The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings!. It tells the story of some of the first peoples to inhabit Middle Earth!. I believe some of the characters in this book were mentioned in the Sillmarillion, but I'm not sure, as it's been a long time since I read the Silmarillion!. However, this book is definitely easier to get through than the Silmarillion and is much more story-like!. Read this one last!.

In short, I recommend reading the books in the order they came out: The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, The Silmarillion and the Children of Hurin!. However, chronologically the books go Children of Hurin, The Hobbit, and The Lord of the Rings!. I honestly wouldn't include the Silmarillion in there chronologically because I think of it more as a reference book than a story!. I suppose you can read Children of Hurin before The Hobbit and LOTR, but I would definitely read them in the order they were published if I were you!.
