In formal letters the word is seen more frequently, as in 'by courtesy of the call mentioned, I will continue business with you!.' (<--that is a rough example!.) If you mean 'why include courtesy while you write a letter,' you must include it the same way you include courtesy when talking to someone you respect and/or don't know well, and in a letter you must remember that you never see the reaction of the reader, so courtesy keeps what you write non-incendiary!.Www@QuestionHome@Com |
