One of my all-time favorite books!. Picking just one character as my very favorite is next to impossible!. But when I reread the book, the character whose entrance I find myself most looking forward to is Glen Bateman!. Knew his strengths and weaknesses, wasn't afraid to use his strengths or confront his weaknesses, and had a thoroughly wicked sense of humor!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I really love Tom and Nick!. All the characters in this novel are very compelling!.!.!.as are most of the character in Stephen King's novels!. They are actually coming out with a comic book version of The Stand in September!. The adaptation of Wizard in Glass was great and I expect great things from The Stand too!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I particularly enjoyed Abigail Freemantle, affectionately called Mother!. She served as a beacon and adviser to Nick, Stu, and the other "good" characters and was proud to still bake her own bread at her advanced age!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Nick Andros was my favorite, nicely drawn character!. Great book, King's best (in my opinion)Www@QuestionHome@Com
