Question: Who is your most hated book villain and most loved!?

In 'Tess of the D'urebervilles I loathe and hate Angel Clare for being such a disgusting hypocrite!.He thinks he's sooooo enlightened but he abandons poor Tess on finding out about her troubled past!.I really hate him!.
My fav villain is the sinister ruler of Ankh-Morpork, Lord Vetanari, I cant explain why I like him, he reminds me of Mr Burns from the Simpsons!.

For me, they are the same person: Heathcliff!. Some of his actions can truly be deemed evil, such as his treatment of Isabella, Hareton, and young Catherine!. His bitterness and his quest for vengeance consume him, and he destroys the lives of everyone around him!. At the same time, he deeply adored Cathy, and I think had a core of good in the middle!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Worst villain: Moriarty, the arch villain from Arthur Conan Doyle's The Sherlock Holmes series!. He has no redeeming qualities!.

Best villain: Hannibal Lecter created by Thomas Harris for the book Red Dragon!. He is an awful psychopathic, murdering character, but in his crazed life, he does have some wonderful moment of gentleness and kindness!. Beautifully written!.

Hate: For some inexplicable reason, Draco Malfoy from Harry Potter seems to have a lot of fans, but I just found him to be a nasty, slimy, obnoxious little git!.

My favorite villain(s) would have to be the Cenobites from Clive Barker's The Hellbound Heart!. I wouldn't ever like to meet them, but they are fascinating to read about!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Ezma from the Emperor's New Groove is my favorite villian!. And my most hated would be Snowball from Animal Farm(Poor Stalin, lol)!. Ok so one of them isn't from a book, but i love her cause she's so funny, and i couldn't think of any book villian that i "loved"!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I was terrified of Dominga Sanchez from The Laughing Corpse (Anita Blake series)!. A 'harmless' little old lady who was heavily into black voodoo!. scary!
