Question: What are some challenging, good books to read for essays, SAT, etc!?
I need a list of a lot of challenging and/or good authors and books to read!.

Examples of these kind of authors would include: George Orwell, Shakespeare, Mark Twain, Mary Shelley, Charles Dickens, etc!.

Usually books like this are writers from the early 1900s to the mid-1900s, or in the late 1800s!. They are usually very famous, and widely known, though some of these kind of books you read in a high school English class may not be the most fun!.

A site with a list of books like this would be helpful!

Try Brave New World by Aldous Huxley!.!. its a futuristic book about the year 2500ish AD, and how life has so drastically changed since it was written (1930s)!. Great examples of social interaction and evolution :) its fun to read to boot!. It also goes along with 1984 by George Orwell, in a sort of communist outlook of the future (future being 1984 :p)

They were assigned to me in the 12th grade for reading - assuming thats your grade level or thereabouts!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
