I mean how a mer-goddess becomes a mermaid with salt-water touching her legs!. Do I need to write that in my story!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, if it's relevant to the story then I would go ahead and do so!. However, you have to remember, that you don't need to explain everything about the characters!. Only what is going to help the reader understand them or further it along!.

See, what some readers do is question everything about the character and it's annoying!. Such as--with Twilight fans--everyone wants to know how Bells and Ed are going to do it or how does Ed react when Bells is on her monthly duty!. That's stupid because it doesn't further the story along and it's not really much of their business!.

You're the author and it's up to you to decide what you have to explain and what you don't!. Make sure it's relevant to the story or you'll most likely be cutting it out when you get to the editing part!.

Good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

It sounds interesting, so I would definitely include it! If it is something relevant to a character, then you could make it an interesting flashback!. I love it when fantasy books have interesting flashbacks that reveal something previously unknown or important to the story!. But, in the end, you are the writer, so you get to decide what to include in your story!. Have fun writing!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Anything that is relevant to your story you should put in and describe!. That i believe explains alot, so yes it is relevant!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
