He continued to look away!. His expression, one of anger, twisted into one of sadness- no, despair!. I could see his thoughts; they were obvious, written all over his human guise!. Three words- This is hopeless!.
Three words that broke my heart!. Three words that made me determined for this to work out, this love between the demon and the protector!. Come tomorrow, he would try to sway the balance of life, and I would have to stop him, but the nights belonged to us!. From evening on, we could be free!. We could stop being demon and psychic, the enemies!. We could begin our lives as Donovan and Maleah!. The lovers!.
