Question: Breaking Dawn Party!?
In Springfield Mo the Barnes and Nobel bookstore is having a party and it says to wear your prom costume!.
Does that mean to go ALL OUT prom or what!?
How would you dress!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

That means all out Prom!. Like, gown, clutch, overdone makeup and everything!. Just, nix the limo in my opinion!. That's a bit TOO overdone if you ask me!.

My suggestions are to go with either Bella's, Alice's or Rosalie's dress from the Prom at the end of Twilight!.

I remember that Bella's was a very blue, very light kind of dress with lots of tendrils of fabric coming off of it!.

Alice's was more complex in that it had the midsection cut into a triangled pattern and was a solid black, down to your feet!.

Rosalie's had a dangerously low plunging neckline with a gold band across the waist (i think there was a gold band at least) and it was a vibrant red!.

I say that if you plan on wearing any of those, make sure you at least SLIGHTLY resemble the character!. For Bella, try to go with the soft brown hair that isn't TOO too pretty, but isn't totally dull either!.

For Alice, try not to be taller than 5'1"!. Alice is supposed to be 4'10" according to Stephenie Meyer (check out Twilightlexiconblog!.com!. It's in Alice's character bio) and i think that anyone taller than 5'1" would have a hard time portraying Alice!.

For Rosalie, try not to overdo it!. You won't look as pretty as she's made out to be, period, so don't try to!. It's useless!. Go for a subtle beauty, then overplay it with a more vibrant one!. Add more vibrantly colored make-up, but not so much that it's trashy!. Straigten your hair to make it look longer!. Put on your "I'm better than you and I know it" look and make sure you have confidence!. She'd be nothing without it!.

And if all else fails, find a really REALLY regal dress, one that looks super expensive and isn't one of those flimsy cocktail dresses girls wear to homecoming that are skintight and show so much the imagination wants to gouge its eyes out!. Then, throw on a cloak, preferably black, and claim to be a Volturi member!.

If you don't want to spend too much though, i'd highly suggest Borders as another option!. They're doing a costume contest (much cheaper!. No expensive dresses that you'll never wear again), a Jacob-v-Edward debate and trivia from Twilight Lexicon!. There's going to be doorprizes also, ones that'll be like, all kinds of limited edition stuff!.

Hope this helps!. And have fun!

If I were going, I would wear something simple, mysterious and drastically seductive!. also, I would lightly dust my face and body with some subtle glitter, because vampires tend to "dazzle" people, right!? ;)
