romance books, graphic novels, or manga?

Question: Recommend any good fantasy/romance books, graphic novels, or manga!?

I've been having a hard time coming up with new books that I really want to read!. I am more in the mood for a stand-alone rather than a series, but I will take all suggestions!.

The Black Magician Trilogy by Trudi Canavan is rather good!. They're quite short books, and really enjoyable to read!. Not like slogging through a 7-part epic :-)

The Artemis Fowl books are also quite good young adult novels!.

My personal favourite series at the minute is "A Song of Ice and Fire", though it's complicated, and not for the faint hearted!.

The Hobbit could be stand-alone book for you to try!. Personally I prefered it to The Lord of the Rings, thought he got a bit long-winded in that!.

a great manga i found was "Kodomo No Jikan", its a bit cheeky, but i thought it was cute, and at the same time, some parts are really confronting, definitely a good read
plus they made it into an Anime

its a trilogy of books by Nora Roberts and i just finished the second one!. the first one is called blood brother and the second one is called the hollow!.the third doesn't come out until november!.

I would read the Anne Rice series, if you like the Twilight Saga the vampire chronicles are amazing, but you may have already read them!. For good paranormal fanstasy read the Dresden Files they are pretty good!. Hope that helps any!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
