The Chronicles Of Narnia!.

They were my first fantasy series and I've loved fantasy ever since!. I would dream of living in Narnia, doing anything I could to help Aslan!. I even had a lion plush that I called Aslan!.
My favorite book of the series as a child was The Magician's Nephew!.

I was also too young to get bogged down by all the Christianity references!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

My Favorite was Laura Charlotte!. It was about this girl who had a stuffed elephant named Charlotte because "it was the prettiest name in the world" Her grandma made it for her, and for my birthday, my mom bought me the book, and my grandma made me a stuffed elephant, which of course i named Charlotte!. I still have both the book and the elephant, both of which are a little worn down! But it was my favorite gift i ever received!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Anyway, I read a lot of "junk food" when I was a kid!. I read mostly Babysitters Club, Sweet Valley books, Goosebumps, that sort of thing!. I wish there were as many good fantasy and sci-fi books out for teens, pre-teens, and kids as there are now when I was younger!. (I'm 24!.)Www@QuestionHome@Com

I liked the Lioness series (Tamara Pierce) when I was 10!. I tried to convince my parents to get me fencing lessons, but I live in a tiny town so it would have been impossible!. I remember them laughing at me!. Neither of them are big readers, and so they didn't understand my desire to be just like Alanna!. (:

When I was 6, I liked the "If you give a mouse a cookie" book!. Matilda was a favorite when I was 8-9!.

To add more to a long list, I was huge on fantasy and I loved Ella Enchanted and the Two Princesses of Bamarre when I was 10!.

Er, considering Twilight came out in 2005 and all of us are at least thirteen, I don't think Twilight even existed when anyone here was a kid!.

My favorite book was Ramona Quimby, Age 8!. I would read it over and over and over a thousand times, and then read it again for good measure!.

also I remember loving a series of books I used to get from the library they were about children in other countries, they were all twins , like The Japanese Twins and The Eskimo Twins!. The Dutch Twins!. etc, etc,
I have always loved reading, I can not imagine my life without books, my childhood was filled with reading and I can remember the books I have mentioned, in fact I still have my copy of Heidi, singed from an auntie -- Happy Christmas 1952!.

My favorite book when I was a child was The Little White Horse by Elizabeth Goudge (I'm quite old!)!.
