i centered a paper i wrote about the book on this quote:
“Privation and Suffering are the only things that can open the mind of man to those things which are hidden from others!.”

no one will ever understand what Pi has learned because they didn't share the same experiences!.
it relates to Pi's discoveries about life, beauty, and faith

you can also talk about the argument involving whether wild animals can ever really be tamedWww@QuestionHome@Com

The easiest thing is to summarize each chapter after you have done reading it!. also, you could set up a separate page for each character and jot down notes as they pertain to them (how they change, description, interesting things they say or do)

You could also jot down those things that you find particularly interesting or that raise questions in your mind!.

You could jot down any phrases that you find interesting!.

I think the idea is to note down what YOU find interesting in the story instead of sticking to a set formula!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

make sure you note that the entire idea of the book is to choose to believe what you think and that Pi was either on the boat with the animals, or the people he noted at the end!. There is no way to know what actually happened but the author's point is to show that people can believe what they want and interperate things in their own wayWww@QuestionHome@Com
