Question: Can anyone help me with a good publisher in the Northeast of the USA!?

I have written a book of poems and devotionals and the manuscript is ready to send out!. I am looking for a publisher where I don't have to put any money up front but would still publish the book!. Any authors out there to help me!? I live in New Jersey!. Thank you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Invest in a copy of "Writer's Market 2008" for ideas of which companies might publish your book!. You should not limit yourself to publishers in the Northeast; you aren't going to go there directly to deliver your manuscript! I am not trying to discourage you, but it is very difficult, particularly if you are previously unpublished, to find a publisher for a book of poems because poetry doesn't sell!. Self-publishing is the only definitive way to insure that your creation becomes a book, but, as you realize, you WILL have to pay for it!.
