As a romance author, I, er, tend not to shut the door!.

The best advice I can give is to really let yourself get into your character!. Being firmly in one POV or the other will help you determine what your character would do and how everything would feel!.

That said, a lot of authors feel very awkward writing love scenes and if they force it, it shows!. If you are really uncomfortable with it, then don't be graphic!. You really don't have to be graphic or use crude language if you don't want to!. But whatever you do, make your own decision as to how much you want to show!.

Whether you shut the door or not, there are markets for all different heat levels!. Sex on the page is rarely a deal-breaker if you target your book at the right publisher!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Don't be very explicit!. It's often much better to leave a lot of the visuals, etc!. up to the reader's imagination, which is always more satisfying!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
