I have long thought that "James Patterson" is not one person at all, but several people who use this name!. If you read the books about the kids with wings, it's obvious that most chapters, or at least passages, are written by a female, while the action/chase sequences are written by a male!. Same with the Alex Cross series; the fight/chase sequences are written by a male, while the dialog with women are all written by females!.

Look over the books again and you'll see!. Either it's at least two people writing, or "James" is schizoid!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think that James Patterson "co-writes" his books to give up and coming young authors a head start on their careers - he is probably acting more as a mentor and lending his name to their books to give them more exposure than they would get writing alone!. Several authors, including Tom Clancy and Clive Cussler, have done similarly!.

The book gets the notoriety of being "authored" by a best-selling author with a large fan base that will pretty much buy any new book by that author, but with a majority of the work being done by the second writer!. Patterson will probably have some input into the project and actually help write some of it, but it pretty much just gives the new author more exposure than he/she would normally have gotten!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would have to assume, like most men, he doesn't know or care about things like the thread count in a bed sheet, the scent of a certain perfume, what material dress' are made of!. If he had any balls these things would never find their way into any of his books!. Dresses are made to be removed, while smelling whatever scent it is, while taking her for the trip of her life on whatever sheet is available, clean or not!. I have stopped reading Patterson and company, they bore me to death!. Try Harlan Coben, or David Baldacci!. Authors with balls!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
