Question: What's a good book that involves a strong heroine that solves a murder mystery or something!?
It can be paranormal or not (although I like it when the character has some special ability)!. The girl can be teen or not (I've read things from Mediator series to the Weather warden series, girl power, different ages)

I'm also okay with guy hero's but I've read too many of those recently (like Peeps which was great)

so any suggestions is cool!.

i also prefer more modern stuff, anything written more than 20 years ago bores me!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
you might try Kay Hooper's Bishop/special crimes unit novels

they start with the bishop trilogies
stealing shadows, hiding in the shadows and out of the shadows, then touching evil, whisper of evil, sense of evil
then, hunting fear, chill of fear and sleeping with fear!.

if you don't mind a little romance with you murder, there is also J!.D!. Robb's In Death series!. the main Heroine is a Homicide Cop in the year 2059, there are about 25 books so far in that series, and a new one coming out in Nov!.

there is also Iris Johansen's Eve Duncan forensics thriller series, i think the first one of those is Face of deception

Good luck i hope you find some you enjoyWww@QuestionHome@Com
