I have read a lot of books in my life but the TWO best books i have read out of all of them, i would have to say is DESPERAUX and GROWING WINGS!.

Desperaux - a mouse in love with music, stories, and a princess named pea!. it is also a story of a rat called Roscuro, who lives in darkness but covets a world filled with light!. and it is the story of miggery sow, a slow witted serving girl with a simple, impossible wish!. these characters are about to embark on a journey that will lead them down into a horrible dungeon, up into a glittering castle, and ultimitaly into eachother's lives!. and what happens then!?

Growing Wings - a girl who discovers that she is growing wings, has to hide from the world!. Her and her mom go to a hotel but she wakes up to find her mom missing!. So, she runs away to her grandma's house and then from there, she goes to this amazing place where everybody is growing wings!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm a boy, so I haven't actually read this series, but there's a lot of buzz about it by the girls at my school!. It's called the Twilight series!. It's about a vampire romance, or something like that, but every girl I know has read it! It's also becoming a movie some time this year or next year so it might be cool for you to read the three books before the movie is released!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Try Anchee Min's books!. She's a wonderful Chinese author who writes mostly about the time when Mao Zedong ruled Communist China!. Some of her stuff is nonfiction and other stuff is historical fiction about the era, but it's all terrific and wonderfully interesting! Her autobiography "Red Azalea" and her historical fiction "Wild Ginger" are two particular favorites! ^_^Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm 15 now, so I still remeber my favorites!.
I loved the books Bras &Broomsticks, Frogs& French Kisses, and Spells& Sleeping Bags!. Its a trilogy by Sarah Mlynowski!.
I think I also read Eragon and Eldest then!. I don't know if you'd like those!.
Define Normal by Julie Anne Peters (I think)!.
The Magic or Madness Trilogy by Justine Larbalestier is good!. Mmhmmm!. I loved those!. Her husband Scott Westerfeld and his Uglies Series was interesting!.
I've taken a liking to books written in verse!. If you haven't already, check out Burned by Ellen Hopkins and anything from Sonya Sones!.

I like books that have action in them, but I can't focus unless there is some sort of romance to keep me going!. I'm not sure if you would dig my style of books, but you should check them out, give em a try!. These books are just a few on a looong list of the books I read in Junior High (they aren't Junior High level though, I read way ahead too)!. I thought they were fun!. If you like them and you want more, just message me!.

And, if you haven't heard of this site , you should go to fictionpress!.com!. There are many great stories to read there!. I post alot of my work there!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Were The Red Fern Grows is a wonderful heartwarming story, but it made me very emotional at some parts!. It is not a difficult book to read at all!. But since you are at high school level it will be an easy read!. It is still my favorite book though!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
