How to write a crime story?

Question: How to write a crime story!?

I don't know how to think of a crime and how the detective shall solve and what clues she will find that will help her get to the culprit and the way the crime was commited!. I'm not writing it as a book or novel, i'm writing it as an episode to our series and we will post it on youtube whenever we finish it!. It is an animated series!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You should make sure you watch shows and movies about crime, and read books on crime and gangsters!. Read books about Scarface (the real one), The Kray Twins and so on, watch movies like "The Godfather", then watch things like James Bond where they solve crimes!.
