YES!!!! That was so mean and selfish to Edward! If your engaged to someone you cant kiss someone else and love them!! Thats just awful!!! I hated her then! But shes just human and i know everyone has problems like that, But still! ugh!

Yes, it was selfish for her to think she could have Jacob and Edward for herslef without conswequences!. But she is only human and so she makes mistakes!. and it was not really like she was loving two people at once because really it was almost like she was two different people!. There was a part of her that loved jacob at one time and the other part that would always love edward!. Yes, I soooo think that in the end, Bella was being such a brat to Edward because he knew that Bella loved Jacob too but she couldn't live without Edward and she cried infront of Edward and moped around!. Edward even gave her the chance to call off the wedding and be with Jacob because he loved her and wanted to be happy but she still chose Edward!.
But she WAS the one who led Jacob on at that day at La Push when she wanted to find out about Edward's family!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i don't really know!. for one thing, you can't really help who you fall in love with!. love is like a wave, it goes wear it pleases!. there are gentle waves, then there are sunamis!. they can't be controled!. and sometimes they leave damage behind!. i don't even know where i'm going with this but i think no, bella was not being selfish but it is her falt that jacob was hurt!. as soon as she knew she loved him she should have left, to spare him!.
