i read that book years ago, never thought it was anything special, just another vampire book, now i see atleast 20 twilight questions per day here, what up with that!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's not quite of the same popularity as Harry Potter!. It's written with the young female demographic in mind and for the most part repels young men!. It's gained a large following mainly due to the fact that the author has created the vampire Edward Cullen to be god-like and "the perfect guy!." Both protagonists share an inseparable bond of love, which is very hard to find in real life!. And reading about an ordinary girl dating the perfect guy is almost as good as the real thing!.!.!.or so I've been told!. also, apparently Edward Cullen is sexy!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No - it is not!. It is a temporary fad among certain factions of teens!. It is also a book about a potential domestic abuser, a lying doormat of a girl and a pedophile werewolf who selects a 2 year old as his mate!. This, too, shall pass!. They are badly written and have about as much chance of becoming classics as a puppy has in Michael Vick's backyard!. Yes, actually it kind of is!. But its like the girl version of Harry Potter, cuz its mainly girls that read it! Its great, and the reason why its such a hit now, is cuz there is the movie Twilight coming out in December the next book Breaking Dawn coming out next month and another book Midnight Sun that I'm not sure when it comes out probably next year!. But Stephanie Meyer has been said to be the new J!.K!. Rowling!. Thats not really true, but her books are really great!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Ha!. Twilight's been out 4 years!. Harry was out for 10!. 4 books, 7 books!. I could go all day comparing facts and figures but, I think any reader knows Harry was a phenomenon one that will not be repeated by a sniveling girl and her overbearing boyfriend!.
