"Hang on tight spider monkey!." I'm sure you've all seen it!. WHEN THE HELL DID EDWARD SAY THAT IN THE BOOK!?! I know the book and the movie aren't going to turn out exactly alike, but come on, Edward would never say that! It is so not his character at all! God I can't stop thinking about it, it makes me so mad, they butchered that scene! Haha is it only me who is absurdly crazy with the movie and that line!?!?Www@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: They butchered a LOT of scenes, but I don't think that was one of them!. He's just being funny!. I don't really think it goes against his character!. If you remember, in the book he's all laughing and happy in that one scene!. Really stress-free!. So even though it's not PRESICELY like the book, I still think it works okay!. What bugs me is the number of scenes they've changed beyond recognition!. AKA they COMPLETELY got rid of the Port Angeles scene! I'm so sad!.!.!. I was looking forward to that!. To ~Angel~; a spidermonkey is a monkey with long arms/legs!. So he's telling her to hold on, and he's joking while he says it!. It's sort of a "pet" name, like "honey" or something!.Www@QuestionHome@Com i know they change stuff but stephenie meyer is on the set so it wont be bad and read the book while picturing watching it in a theater exactly the way it is come on, if it was exact the movie would be so boring watching and reading are completely different thingsWww@QuestionHome@Com im hoping that thats just a blooper or a teaser trailer! but im worried cause i saw the fight scene too and she is fine! she sprays pepper spray in his eyes and there is a tiny bit of blood on her head but she just sits there, awake, and watches edward fight him!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com I agree with you!It's just like WTF!!.!.!.So not nothing Edward would say!.!.!.More like Bella's weird smart *** humor!.The movie wont be a lot like the book, but hopefully it'll be WAY better then Blood and Chocolate!.That book is great!Starts great and ends great!.The movie starts bad and ends bad!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I know!!! that was soo weird!.
