I have answered this question so many times, I decided to dedicate a web site to answer this question!. Here it is:

Included is a list of only the best sorcery fantasy books, grade reading level, a short review of each book along with a brief summary of adult content!. There is also HP fan fiction, a "Readers' Choice" list of favorite books, and a list of heroine sorcery fantasy books!.

I hope this helps!.

I'm not particularly a fan of Harry Potter or much of the mainstream stuff that authors try to pass of as true writing BUT if you are into the whole adventure, sci-fi, fantasy, epic type of book, you'll really love the Pendragon Adventure by D!.J!. MacHale!. Or even Sabriel, Lireal, and Abhorsen by Garth Nix!.

But Perfume by Patrick Suskind is the best book of all time!. Read it! It's the most beautiful story--the writing is fantastic and vivid, the characters deep, twisted, and convincing, and the plot is dark and seductive!. I don't want to give anything away (discovering what the book is really about for yourself is a way fun experience) but anyone who likes reading and can appreciate true art will love it!

(EDIT)
Okay, I have to add this after hearing all the twilight contraversy!. I read them, and they were fairly good!. Not the best writing technically, but a good story!. And really, can anyone honestly come up with a reason why Harry Potter is any better!?

Don't listen to what your friends or the media tells you about books!. It's all lies, well most of it!. Look things up for yourself, try something new!. Reading, in a sense, is a magic and sacred experience!. Finding your own precious book makes the whole process even more rewarding!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

don't listen to that guy, twilight is FANTASTIC! It's a great story (Nothing will ever be better than H!.P, but Twilight is really close to it!) and if you like the book, it's a series so there are more books you can read!

Here's the blurb on the back of the book just to show you what it's about:

About three things I was absolutely positive!.
First, Edward was a vampire!.
Second, there was a part of him - and I didn't know how dominant that part might be - that thirsted for my blood!.
And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him!.

When Isabella Swan moves to the gloomy town of Forks, and meets the mysterious, alluring Edward Cullen, her life takes a thrilling and terrifying turn!. With his porcelain skin, golden eyes, mesmerizing voice, and supernatural gifts, Edward is both irresistible and impenetrable!. Up until now, he has managed to keep his true identity hidden, but Bella is determined to uncover his dark secret!.

What Bella doesn't realize is that the closer she gets to him, the more she is putting herself and those around her at risk!. And it might be too late to turn back!.!.!.

Deeply seductive, and irresistibly compelling, the book 'Twilight' is an extraordinary love story that will stay with you long after you have turned the final page!.

'Her story, recounted in hypnotic, dreamy prose, encapsulates perfectly the teenage feeling of sexual tension and alienation'!. The Times

'The thrilling tale of a vampire romance at high school'!. Sunday HeraldWww@QuestionHome@Com

(topical) try reading the Narnia series by C S Lewis

The series starts with 'The Magicians Nephew' (written after the Lion, The Witch and the wardrobe!.!.!. but is set before that book and explains the history of the wardrobe, Narnia, the wtich, etc)
and it finishes with 'The Last Battle'Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, I was going to suggest Twilight, but if you agree with Creed!.!.!.!.!.

Anyway, I really like The Modern Faerie Tales by Holly Black!.

It's not as good as HP, but it comes close!. Oh, I think it's better than Twilight!.

It's basically about a girl who falls into a war between to Faerie kingdoms!. AMAZING!Www@QuestionHome@Com

he's a vampire!.!.!. n he is portrayed by actor Robert Pattinson!.!.!. I'm sure u've seen him!.!. he acted as Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire!.!.!. i bet this piece of info will motivate u 2 read da books!.!. it sure did 4 me! ;pWww@QuestionHome@Com

It would help if I knew why you enjoyed Harry Potter!. The comedy, fantasy, magical adventure!? I like Harry Potter and also enjoy, Discworld, Red Dwarf, Hitchhikers, Dirk Gently etc!. Go to the library to experiment with new reading material!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I personally really enjoyed the Twilight books!. I think you should try reading them!. The fourth one is coming out in less than a month as well, if you enjoy them! I don't know what age you are, but maybe, if you like fantasy, you could read the Artemis Fowl books!? They're a little young though, so maybe not!. Or, the Wheel of Time is a good fantasy series!.
Hope this helps!Www@QuestionHome@Com
