Question: What's a good late 19th century motherly name that goes well with Anthony!?
I want an uncommon, old name that immediately makes you think of a mother!. I'm currently using Lilly but that sounds more like a kid than a mother!. Does anyone have any good ideas!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Two very popular late 19th century female names were Victoria (after the Queen of England) and Beatrice (which could alsos have the nickname Bea)!. You might also consider Louisa, Isabelle, Julia (which became popular as it was the name of President Grant's wife) or Emily, all of which were much in use during that time period!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Mabel, which means "lovable"!.

Lucille, which means "light, or light-bringer"!.

Katrina, which means "pure"!.

Amelia which means "industrious"!.

Charlotte which means "womanly"!.

Those are the ones that come to my mind!. I hope that helps!.

Good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com
