manga that im doing, for a Kin

Question: I need a name for a character in my Fantasy novel/manga that im doing, for a King!.!?

I do not want them copyrighted and I want it to sound like it belongs in a fantasy novel/manga!.
No Japanese though please, just ones that sound fantasy like!.
Like medieval times!. The king's race is dragon by the way, so hopefully that helps!. Thank you!

Well, *generally* speaking, names are not copyrighted or even copyrightable!. In other words, if you want to name your character George Bush or Gordon Brown, you can do so!. There *are* exceptions where names are trademarked (not copyrighted), but those are rare except for product names (like Pepsi or Coca-Cola)!.

So, for example, if you want to call your dragon king Bilbo or Aragorn you can do so!. If you call a short character with bare furry feet who thinks about his next meal all the time Bilbo, you might be plagiarizing and in violation of a copyright!.

That being said, when you combine English language with medieval and royalty, perhaps the best thing to do is to look at the names of nobles in that time!. Latin names can also sound very "royal" to English ears!. Here are some suggestions:

First, names of dragons from myth and legend (all much older than copyright law - I think these are your best bet)

British royalty names (real names from history, so again, no copyright)
