I think she was simply craving to explore her own physical body!. She never had any role models growing up, at least feminine ones, that she could relate her own experiences too!. She was a pretty self-conscious girl, inquisitive, it might have been her reaction to the female nude body!. I mean, there always is the chance that she was bisexual; but maybe she would have mentioned it in some other way!. Then again, she might not have; it was HER diary, and I think that she wrote down the things she wanted to understand, but not necessarily remember!. If she was scared about it, she may not have written it!. So!.!.!. I don't know!.
