Question: Book recommendation!.!?

Okay so i am looking for a good book to read
i love American Psycho
not because of the voilence - no i hate that
but the way he lives the top life, the richness
etc
i love the way he rubs it in!. Like how he goes into detail of what he wears, states that his video store is like 250 a year membership etc
another book similar to it is Paranoia

anyone know any good ones like that

try The Collector by John Fowles in which a crank wealthy young man kidnapes a beautiful educated girl!.He buys her all the luxuries he can think of to please her and keep her as long as he likes(like a butterfly) although she rejects him!.Detectives are on his tracks and a murder is committed!.
