jodi picoult (my sister's keeper, mercy, change of heart-not romance)
meg cabot (many of her books are great)
mary higgins clark (all around the town, a cry in the night, before i say goodbye)- she is a mystery writer, but she writes VERY good books!
oh, and i've also heard that the uglies series by scott westerfield is really good

I don't know why you don't want the Twilight series!.
If you don't like the sound of it, well, I didn't either but soon found out that it was amazing!. I couldn't put it down and it is now my favourite series!. If you haven't read it, give it a shot, because you might be surprised!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Sorry!.!.!.I have never read any of the stories that you listed on here, except for Twilight, so I don't know if you would like theese books or not, but a good book for a teenage girl to read would be books by Sarah Desse!.
