This is actually quite easy to do (datestamp and mail your work to yourself, get it notarised etc!.) and you should do so before sending material to potential publishers!. In the meantime, try to find a friend, teacher or someone else whose opinion you trust!. What about your local librarian!? Is there a book club in your area - I bet they'd be thrilled if you asked them!.!. If the stories are for boys, how about approaching a local school and asking if you could read aloud in assembly or to one of the English classes!.!. maybe make up some feedback forms to take along!? Good Luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com I do not recommend that you post your work on sites that are public There are people out there who will steal your story and ideas!. also, publishers will not publish, or even look at, a story that has been posted on the internet because someone could have taken your idea and/or story!. It's better to find someone you know and let them read your story!. Do you have a brother, sister, or friend that will honestly critique your work!? If not, find someone online that you trust, and just email them your story!.
