New Moon question (twilight series)?

Question: New Moon question (twilight series)!?

I the book New Moon, the part when they go to italy, i noticed a flaw!.

how did edward get to italy so fast if he was in south america (rio) like only hours before!?
he didn't have that much of a head start ahead of alice and bella!. and south america is farther from italy than washington!.

and one minute he was calling from rio, the next hour he was in Italy

does anyone have an explanation!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Actually, I don't know if he was in South America at that moment!. Rosalie told him about Bella before he called so he might have been back in the U!.S!. or something!. But the real flaw is!.!.!. how did they all go through out school with out someone getting a papercut in their class and them attacking the person!? In New Moon, Bella just gets a little papercut and Jasper freaks out on her!.!.!.!. Hmmmm!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
