If not!.!.!.which of his works should I read first!? Thanks!Www@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Shogun is a good place to start! Once you have read it, then I suggest you rent the mini series that was made with Richard Chamberlain!. As with ALL novels, there were condensations but it is overall, a very good representation of the novel!. The characters in the novel are more fleshed out than in the TV series, but this is a remarkable story!. It is very losely based on the life of a real person!., and the intrigue with the Catholic priests is incredibly important to what happened in that part of the world over trade!. You will love it!Www@QuestionHome@Com I read two great books by James Clavell - "King Rat" (about a Japanese prison camp and "Shogun" - I read part of "Nobel House" and never finished "Tai Pei" - I really disliked them!. But Shogun and King Rat are excellent - don't miss them! )Www@QuestionHome@Com yes you can read it it is a good book!.Www@QuestionHome@Com |
