i am reading the book Atonement and i can't remember for the life of me why Briony doesn't like robbie turner so much (besides the whole Cecilia thing, is that it!?) and why does Briony feel the responsibility of protecting Cecilia

yes i agree with the first answer, i think she fell in love with him because he was really sweet to her, and when she saw him showing affection to Cecilia she got jealous!.!. also she had a very imaginative mind, almost supernatural!.!. and she saw things that weren't really there!.!.she imagined that Robbie was going to rape Cecilia or something like that, mixed with her feelings for him made her do what she did!.!. idk, it was kind of confusing for me too!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

yes the cecilia thing, she read the note that Robbie wrote her sister and in her head put the two things together, i think her crush on Robbie didn't help the situation either
