Question: R!.L STINE FEARSTREET books!?
I always read his books back since i was in elementary school, and i honeslty think there maybe something wrong with me to where I dont want to advance into anything else, its not like i still read them, i havent in years, but i remember his books were soo great, I could finish a book in a day!. So, i have got two questions, or 3!.
1) is there any author who writes similiar to R!.L stine, i only mainly was into FEARSTREET!. goosebumps was just not my interest!.
2) where can i purchase fearstreet for cheap, i find places that the book is like 1 dollar online, but fourbucks for shipping and handling on each book!! DAng gina!.
3) should ijust not read his books since his books are targeted to young teens!?

I loved the fear street books!.!. and i don't think there is anything wrong with continuing to read them!. I'm 25 and i still think i'd enjoy reading them!. My Aunt used to steal them from me all the time!.
Your local bookstore should have some!.!. Barnes and Noble seems to have a good selection!. and when i checked for the books in my local B&N it said 58 possible stores have it in stock!.

if they don't have older books !.!. check out Ebay!.!. sometimes they carry them and the shipping isn't as bad because you can buy a "lot" of books at one time!.

also try yard sales!.!.!. i've gotten lucky at finding some great books there for less than $1!.!.!. sometimes u get lucky!.
If you are looking for more advanced reading with a similar style or similar themes (ghosts, mystery, vampires, anthologies, etc)!.!. check out some of these authors!.
Some write more light hearted stuff, some are horror, some mystery!.!.!.etc!.!.

Read what you like, it really doesn't matter what you read as long as you are reading!. As for cheap books, check for a half price books near you, they sell books, usually used but not always for fairly cheap!. You can also look at thrift stores/second hand stores (yes, they sell books as well as clothing) and also take a look at your library, once or twice a year they usually have a sale where you can get books really cheap!. As for adult books along the same line, take a look at Stephen King, and the vamp series of Anne Rice!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I had dozens of fear street books when I was in junior high and high school!. I found them to be a nice escape, and it was a treat to read something that didn't require constant analysis!. I have reread a few of them in my adult life; I don't think it's weird!.
As far as similar books, if you mean horror, I recommend Stephan King and Anne Rice!. Christopher Pike wrote some fear street-esqu books!.
You may be able to find these books at used book stores for only a few dollars!. Other than that, they are probably $4-8 at a regular bookstore!. Checking your local library may also be fruitful!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
