Good name for a sword?

Question: Good name for a sword!?

In my story, there is a sword that can unlock unfamthable power and can only be weilded by certain people!. I need a really good, but original name for the sword cuz the 'legendary sword' doesn't really work to well!. lol!. help!Www@QuestionHome@Com

First off, if you are writing something it helps if you have come up with all of the names, it makes it much easier to write, and 'own' the story!. I wouldn't use the name of a sword from another legend unless you have other references/similarities!.
When coming up with names, I usually pick out my favorite letter from the alphabet and see what I can do with those!. Or I peruse old book for ideas!. If worst comes to worst I search through greek, or latin books for certain roots that I like and whose meanings fit the book!.
Plus it is always fun when someone catches your use of roots!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i mean, come on!. lord of the rings, eragon (i know, i know basically the same thing), how many other fantasy books or movies!? sorry, it's kind of a cliche now!. try something else other than a sword!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
