Eventually she goes through many POS cars, befriends ho-turned-filer Lula, and can't choose which man she wants: Mr!. Mystery, Ranger, or her on-again-off-again boyfriend, Joe Morelli!. I worked at Borders over the holidays and a group of older women told me that I HAD to read them because they were absolutely hilarious!. I was a little skeptical because they seemed too "chick-lit" for me, but I love them now! At the time I read them there were 13 books (14 now as of June 17th) and I finished them all within two weeks!. The book is about a not-so-ambitious woman, Stephanie, who gets into the business of bond enforcemet!. She has no clue what she's doing but lucks on her side!. Each book usually centers around a couple of "skips" (the bad guys she needs to catch) and her relationship with crazy and funny family/friends and the two sexy guys that are fighting over her!. I definitely recommend this book - I usually find myself laughing out loud!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Damn skippy I LOVE Janet Evanovich! I will admit I am from New Jersey and so a lot of the personalities she writes about in her books really do live here in the Garden State!. I can finish one of her books in an evening - as long as I'm not laughing so hard my eyes tear up!. I suggest you take One for the Money out of the library!. Then you have no financial loss if you don't like the series!. I highly recommend her books if you're crazy about humor AND murder mysteries!. These are light-hearted books!.Www@QuestionHome@Com they are hilarious they are about a girl named Stephanie plum who is one of the worst bounty hunters ever and when ever she catches someone it is on accident she also has a sidekick name Lula who is and ex hooker wears clothes way to small (shes fat) Stephanie has a grandma mazur who carries a clock in her purse even though its illegal, she has a cop boy friend and an other one that is kind of a bounty hunter bony guardWww@QuestionHome@Com Good laugh out loud books with murder,mystery,lust,crime fighting!.
