"What a beautiful sunset!." my mom said as she rolled down the window in our car while looking out at the ocean's horizon!.
We were driving home from Florida!. We had come for a week for summer break!. We had gone scuba diving, swam with the dolphins, and even got to go to Disney World!. Or is it Disney Land!? I always forget!. Anyways, we had tons of fun!
It was beautful down here too!. I loved everything about it!. The trees, the wildlife, the clear skies, and most of all, the warm baby blue,ocean!.
It was so vast!. As I looked out at it from my window, I wondered what was beyond it, on the other side!. Probably people, happy and sad, confused and afraid, tired and lonely!. Maybe they were people, who, like me, are looking out into the ocean, wondering too what lies in such a distant place!.
But no matter how beautiful it was on the other side, I wouldn't trade to be over there than to be over here, with my family, driving home from the best vacation I've had in a long time!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best vacation in sun: almost a month on smallish yacht through the Caribbean islands (for a news story [!]!.!.!.); no cold beer at beach 'bars,' though!.

Best fun without sun: a couple of rides in a huge snowplow (small cab) over a bad mountain pass (interview for a news story [!]!.!.!.)--
--Setting 'explosives' to cause avalanche for safety ahead = most fun!. Stories of plows lost = least fun, but good print--
