i saw her speak on her tour and somebody asked her that and she said how she didn't really give it a time period, i mean sure its modern and as she said in the future but she didn't wasn to restrict it by giving it a certain year but near future is what she saidWww@QuestionHome@Com

The Host, by Stephenie Meyer, doesn't have an exact time period it's set in!. It's kind of like if humans continue what they're doing, this is going to happen sort of book!. I guess!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
