Like, when I write, I totally sound like a thirty year old!. NOT KIDDING! But, when I talk and do stuff like this, I sound like a normal kid!. Should I tell more people and show the world!? Or just wait for about ten more years!? I do not want people to think that I am really weird!. Advice!!?!!?!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Just do it! Every moment of your life is worth writing about, no matter how young you are!. When you're older, you'll be so glad that you started out this early!. I started writing stories when I was five, and now, as an adult, writing is part of my life and always will be!. Here are a few tips: 1!. The more you write, the better you'll become!. Practice constantly, writing into journals, writing down stories, collecting ideas and observations that you'll be able to feed into your own work to make it sound more realistic!. 2!. Write from the heart - be totally honest!. Write for yourself initially - don't worry about what others will think, and don't write to impress, either!. 3!. When you're ready, show some of your writing to trusted friends and teachers, and ask for honest feedback - it'll only make you improve even more!. 4!. Read compulsively!. Read a wide range of things, and read critically - try and work out why one book is better than another, why some books are impossible to put down, why others are so boring you give up after Chapter One!. 5!. Then, try to write in those ways, all together at once!. Brandon Sanderson, a 30-year-old, wrote a fictional autobiography of a 12-year-old (Alcatraz versus the Evil Librarians)!. It's excellent humor!. Write a novel or even a non-fiction autobiography of yourself as a 30-year-old, looking back, helping guide your steps, correct your mistakes!. Though I haven't had any of my novels published, my short stories and articles have!. But I'm still working on my novels, and even if I never publish them, they've been a great ride!. Just write!. Now!. If you want to read up on characterization and plot, there are some great books out there!. If you don't want to do that right now, just write for the sheer joy of creating characters (or nonfiction, if that's your style) and do it!. A lot of people think I'm weird for writing!.
