Question: Thomas Hardy fans, which is your favourite novel of his!?
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Probably "The Return of the Native" because the anti-heroine, Eustacia, is such a great character - a fab, OTT, high-maintenance diva that you've just got to love, even though she's evil!.

But on the basis of unputdownable cliffhangers, it's "The Mayor of Casterbridge"!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Far from the madding Crowd!.
If all men were like Gabriel Oak the world would be a better place!.

I'm currently reading Tess of the D'Urbervilles and quite frankly it's not that great, it's a good story line but seems to just sort of dwindle onWww@QuestionHome@Com
