Had a look on the Internet and I've managed to find some information that I hope is correct!.

'The Greenhouse for Pleasure and Profit' is published by two different Publishers;
London Museum Press and The Garden Book Club

You were right about the publishing date being in the1950s!. The actual publishing date is 1952
