Many men go to Winchester Cathedral in Winchester, England so they can stomp on her grave!. Actually you have no choice since its conveniently placed in the aisle!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

My book club just discussed Jane Austen's Persuasion last month and included two Christian married men!.

They had very interesting perspectives as they compared this novel to Dickens' novels and the commentaries/critiques they make about English society!.

Austen's novels vary with the maturity of the author as she wrote them!. She wrote Pride and Prejudice, one of her most famous novels, in her youth whereas she wrote Persuasion in her late 30s!. So both her perspective and the subjects she addresses vary greatly!.

I would recommend Persuasion for your husband to read!. It's challenging and mostly about people's character flaws and good decision-making about finances and values!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

There are MANY men who are interested in Jane Austen !.!.!. there is a pen-pal group called The Letter Exchange (letterexchange!.com) that got started by a man who LOVED Jane Austen and wanted to be able to communicate to others who felt the same way!. He's no longer with the group, and it's now for EVERYONE who wants a 'pen pal' !.!.!. you write 'ads' and the ads go into a small magazine and people 'answer your ads' through the magazine, so it's very SAFE and tons of fun!. Go to the website and ask the people who run it now !.!.!. they can give you MORE THAN ENOUGH PROOF that you are correct !.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

However I know MANY guys who love the movies!. Specifically Pride and Prejudice both the long A&E version and the newer shorter version with Keira Knightly!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I had a boyfriend read it, but he was doing it for ulterior motives if you catch my drift!. LOL!. and it worked!.!.!. Who doesn't want to discuss Mr Darcy in bed!? and guess where that led!? LOL!. Of course, maybe he just got the movies or read the book jacket!.!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

There are probably some men who do, but I honestly have to say that I don't really care for it at all!. I don't like much writing from that time period, though, so that may be the reason!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes I'm sure that there are!. Tell him to look on Amazon!.com and check out the reviews there on Jane Austen's novels!. That's a good way to see and know that there are men that read her books!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
