If you've never read Neil Gaiman, I highly recommend his 'American Gods!.' The novel is often considered urban fantasy, but there's an edge to it, reminiscent of classic English horror!. This is a very complex novel, and Gaiman's writing is wonderfully rich and literate!. From what you've described, I think you would enjoy this a great deal!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Anything by Dan Brown would be a great fit!. The Davinci (Sorry don't know why the spell check is not giving me a correct spelling on this) Code is good, but Angels and Demons is great!. His earlier stuff is good too, but unfortunately he has only written 4 novels!. Great stuff!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
