It was very, very good!. But, damn it was depressing!.

The book ends and he has NOTHING to live for!. his favorite daughter is dead; his marriage is OVER; he doesn't have a relationship with his other daughter; his friends are all dead; he can't go back to his job; and he can't paint!. It seems like he has nothing to do with the rest of his life but find reasons not to blow his brains out!.

It seems a lot of King's later books have a really depressing edge that his earlier books didn't!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I read it and was totally confused when he first started painting!. I thought it was painly slow but then it recovered and regrouped!.

I even bought it and the popup book that he also done!Www@QuestionHome@Com
