Question: Third person help!?
Okay, so my question is:

If you're writing a story in third person, can you still write out the main character's thoughts!?

Because I'm working on an Alex Rider fanfic, and all of the books are in third person, so that's the perspective I want to write it from, but I also need to tell the readers what Alex is thinking!.

Any help/advice!?

Thank you (in advance)!Www@QuestionHome@Com

No problem with that!. Write something like!.!.!.

It was a dark and stormy night, and the sky seemed to forecast a gloomy trip!. "I hope this car starts," Alex thought to himself as he reached for his keys in order to turn the ignition!.

Get the idea!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

you could switch between different persepectives
or you could try to explain how they are feeling from someone elses persepective, like their facials or reactions!.!. or just by things they sayWww@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, just make sure that you stay in Alex's point of view!. It'll get confusing if we hear what other characters are thinking!.!.!.at least I would get mixed up!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
