Question: Is Twilight that popular/good/obsessive/page turner!?

Seriously I haven't read any Twilight book but you know I'm sortha've shocked and overwhelmed of how many people love and some are actually obsessed with Twilight! Don't get me wrong , I'm not against it at all , just don't understand what people like Twilight sooo much , so true question would be : WHAT HAS FASCINATED YOU SO MUCH ABOUT TWILIGHT!?What's that special something about the books!? I'm about to buy them tomorrow just so you know lol cause I've gotten so curious abt Twilight !.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I got curious about Twilight as well, and got the books second-hand, and have read about one and 1/2 of them!.
You would do well to avoid obsession with these fictional characters, especially those drawn in such a loopy way, where former facts don't line up and the plot is kind of like lace!.!.!. Pretty, maybe, but it doesn't last well and doesn't pack any punches!.

Yes, some characters aren't 'normal' and that fascinates many, but I'm afraid I found myself often asking silent questions, like: 'How does so-and-so survive losing so much !.!.!.' and 'What!? Didn't Meyer just write the opposite!?' --like that!. I like good writing, and I didn't find it there!.
It's a page-turner, alright!.

This is my opinion, as asked: nothing is very special about these books!. It's just waayyy special for the all-caps and named-for-it fans, who give me thumbs down whenever they spot me!. Ah, well!. A question like this I take time to answer!.

The thing that fasicnated me so much about them is that I've always been a fan of the mysterious nature that is the vampire, and I have to say that she's has added a whole new point of view to the 'vampire world!.' A different view that merges into reality!. Unique characters and plot, anyone can get hooked from the first page and never be able to put it down!. She uses obsession, adventure, mystery, and romance all together very well to write a story that truly gets you to explore your imagination better than anything!. It's really hard to answer that question!. The best answer would be for you to read it and you will definetly understand it!. But I guess vampires have always sort of fascinated people and the fact that this vampire is in a relationship with a human is "amazing" to people!. And It's also the way Stephenie Meyer writes her books there just really captivatiing I guess!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, like I've said, for people who actually regularly enjoy reading, they like because it has a good plot and is interesting and yes, it is a page turner!.

well, they're good but nothing to get obsessed with imo
but once something gets a loyal following the fan base grows and sometimes it just spreads really quickly which is what happened with twilight
i think a lot of the obsessed have a kinda limited source of books that they've actually read to compare to!. most of them anyway!.
but another thing is that edward is pretty much what every girl is looking for (apart from the vampire thing of course)

i'm one of those twlight obsessed fans who read the book soon after it came outt and was soo happy to see it becaome a hit!
what fascinated me so much about twlight!?
the word 'suspenseful' and 'a page turner' don't even do twilight justice
i read the book in literally a day and couldnt stop
knowing that i'm a curious person, my curiousity was what prevented me from stopping
to say the characters are mysterious would be an understatement
the plot is intriguing, her description is crystal clear, and not too mention that im one for love stories and relationships =]
read it, its more than ah-mazing

I don't think its anything special!.
I've read much better books!.
I think its the fantasy romance element that has a lot of girls in a tizzy over it!. That and the fact that the protagonists love interest is dangerous in a safe way!. I think that appeals to some girls' sense of adventure without scaring them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It is a hopelessly romantic story and we have all fallen in love with the characters!. Its one of the few proper romance novals that are based for teens that are more deep, unlike many others, like the georgia nicholson confessions etc, which btw, i adore them books too!.
