It's the very very last thing in the book!.

It is her father's - at the end, he tells her that he loves her and then goes upstairs and the last thing in the book is him kissing her on the mouth!. So it's implied that he has been raping her for quite some time since she's given up fighting!.

It's quite sad, but probably my second-favorite Picoult besides "The Pact!."Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't think that it's revealed in any other
