IT is about a meteor that hits the moon out of orbit and it causes stuff to happen on earth such as volcanoes, earthquakes, floods, and tsunamis, becasue of it's gravitational pull!. It is about one family's struggle for survival!. (300 pgs)

Check out the maximum ride series by james patterson!. My cousin, 15 yrs old, has just read them and i am currently reading the first in the series, but she says they are awesome books!. I can't put the first one down!. I think they are ALMOST as good as twilight, and very hilarious!. Phoenix Tears is right - Sarah Dessen is a wonderful author!. I read, "The Lullaby," which was really good!.
Amelia Atwater-Rhodes writes amazingly well - her series Kiesha'ra is really good!. They usually don't exceed over 200 pages, but the quality of the story and the writing style make up for that!.
The Looking Glass Wars by Frank Beddor are great - I loved these books!.
13 Reasons Why by Jay Asher was awesome as well!.
Saving Francesca by Melina Marchetta was excellent, too!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

"Beauty: A Retelling of Beauty and the Beast" by Robin McKinley is definitely one of my favorites!. It's the best retelling that I've read!.

"Broken Chords" by Barbara Snow Gilbert is more modernly set!. It's about a young, talented pianist who falls in love with another!. They are both competing in a famous competition in order to win a scholarship!. A one way ticket to the career they both dream of!. Clara, though, knows that her playing is more skill than passion!. And she has to decide between the thing she is good at or the thing she loves, ballet!. This is, all about, a very sad story!. It's so beautifully written, though, that I've read again and again and fallen in love with it!.

"I Am Rembrandt's Daughter" by Lynn Cullen is based on actual historical figures!. Rembrandt's daughter longs to paint like her father, yet is shadowed by her half-brother!. When her brother marries, it's up to her to take care of their father, who is on the brink of madness and refuses to paint the way his patrons desire!. Cornelia is quickly caught up in a romance with the rich Carel!. This is a wonderful story of an intricate love triangle and the renouned artist!. I couldn't put it down!.

"Sirena" by Donna Jo Napoli is a retelling of the story of the sirens!. They are doomed to live short lives unless they can trick a man into loving them!. Sirena, however, despises her own story and refuses to do such a thing!. Instead, she run away and vows to live alone on a distant island!. Ironically, a man cursed by a jealous Hera is exiled onto that island and left to die!. Sirena is forced to care for him and they do the forbidden!. They fall in love!. And their story promises a bittersweet ending!.

These are amongst my favorite books!. I've reread them all many, numerous times!. I hope that you'll grow to love at least one of them as much as I do!. ?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I loved Sarah Dessen's Just Listen, and about a million other books as well (I have well close to one thousand in my bedroom alone lol)!.

Are you looking for more of a classic, like one of Jane Austen's books!? Or perhaps Treasure Island!? Vanity Fair!? Candide!?

Or do you want something more recent, such as the Artemis Fowl books, something from Stephenie Meyer, Staying Fat for Sarah Byrnes, Blind Sighted!?

Something deep, that you can read 4 or 5 times, and still get something new!? Like One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest!?

How about Anne McCaffrey's Dragon Riders of Pern books!?

Honestly, I'm probably the worst person to recommend a book to you!. I like what I like, whether it's the Great American Novel, or a fluffy but entertaining read!. I don't always read books for depth and greater understanding of the world around me, though I believe that even the fluffiest books can offer that!.

But, if you are just looking for a book that can draw you into the story until you couldn't put it down if you wanted to, well then I might be able to help you out!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

She has adult books too, so you can grow with her!.
