Question: Hobbit!? good or bad!!?

I have to read the Hobbit for a school assignment is it a book worth reading or should i just buy it on itunes!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's well worth reading - the first chapter is a bit of a bore, but after that, it's one of the best books I have ever read!. If you liked Harry Potter, then buy The Hobbit, because Tolkien is a far better writer than Rowling (not that Harry Potter wasn't good in its own way, but The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings trilogy is at a whole different level)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The Hobbit was actually the book that got me into reading, and later writing!. At first I had the hardest time getting past the first chapter "An Unexpected Party" but it really picks up and remains today to be one of my all-time favorite fantasy novels!. It's definately a book worth reading!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

the beginning might bore u a little
but trust me it gets GOOD
after i read that one i read all the Lords of the Rings books

i'm not usually into those types of books but i loved them
