Pride and Prejudice or Great Expectations:
I would recommend Pride and Prejudice!. I loved the characters and enjoyed the growth Elizabeth and Darcy go through by the end of the book!. It's funny and serious at the same time!.

The Awakening or Persuasion:
I would recommend The Awakening!. Chopin introduces Edna Pontellier, who is tired of her life as a wife and mother, as the main protagonist!. She wants more from life than just being a label/object!. She does not wish to conform to the standards set by society!. I loved it for its conflict between society's expectations and an individual's desires - even though the book was published in 1899, this tension still exists to this day (so one can relate a little to Edna's struggle)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Pride and Prejudice!. I LOVE that book! Its characters are so likable, its storyline is so sweet, and it's just a book that will change the way you think!. READ IT!

I haven't read either of the other two, but since Persuasion is another of Austen's books, I'm guessing it's fantastic!Www@QuestionHome@Com

"David Copperfield" by Charles Dickens!. Not only is it my favorite book of all time, but it was Dicken's favorite out of all of his books as well! The characters are so engaging, and it is also a semi-autobiographical book about Dickens' life too!. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!Www@QuestionHome@Com
