Not the actual first chapter which is called engaged, but the preface!. If you have read it, did you think it was strange!? Bella made it sound like Edward was killing her or something!.!.!.cuz she said something like what do you do when the thing you love is killing you or something like that!.!.!.it sounded like she meant Edward!.!.!.I don't have the actual quote because I just read it in the store and didn't buy the book!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

That makes me even MORE excited!!! :)Www@QuestionHome@Com she was talking about Edward killing her because when you get changed into a vampire your heart stops beating as in she isn't alive anymore as in dead but not quite dead!. I like to belive she is talking about Edward changing her so they can be together forever!. Technically, it is killing her because her heart will stop during her transformation!. That's my theory, I hope it will be true (lol) cause she should be with Edward!. Most likely the passage is about him changing her into a vampire, and it does not look like she's up for it!. Perhaps we'll see some kind of twist!? Some change of heart!? If this was Bella talking about Edward changing her, I'm pretty sure she would have different thoughts going on in her head!. Why would she be thinking about running or fighting!? She has wanted to be a vampire for how long!? If that is Bella talking about Edward changing her, then it sounds like she doesn't want to be changed!. It doesn't make sense for Bella to compare this person to her enemies if it is Edward changing her!. Saying things like "marked for disaster" and "I’d escaped time andtime again, but it kept coming back for me" sounds like serious danger, rather than getting what she wants!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Yeah I did read that!. I actually don't agree with the people who say it's Edward changing Bella!. Bella makes it sound like she's in real danger and needs to escape, but the person that is putting her in danger is the person she loves!. If it was Edward changing her, then she's not really in danger so I don't think she say things like that!. So I don't know!. Notice how in that excerpt you provided, she says things like "how could you fight, when doing so would hurt that beloved one!?" Why would she even talk about trying to fight if it was Edward changing her!? Thats what she wanted, so it doesn't make sense for her to talk about fighting whoever it is!.Www@QuestionHome@Com |
